Power Plaid
We're absolutely having a plaid moment. It's everywhere. Isn't it always you say? I guess....but whole editorials are dedicated to it this Fall. I love plaid because it always has tomboy overtones no matter what color, scale, or brand that designs it. At Coach I designed enough plaid scarves to last me a lifetime. I have buckets of them! Plaid also says Thanksgiving to me so Happy Holiday!

Grey Days
It dawned on me that as a sweater designer I really don't have a lot of "perfect" sweaters. I'm currently needing easy things to throw on with jeans and I refuse to buy another black thing. I saw the first image on Keep It Chic and Preston Davis (KIC's editor) first saw it on @fastened2fashion's Instagram. So simple yet only Pheobe Philo's Celine could have made something so "perfect."

Do The Polka
I never used to like polka dots. I always thought of them as being a little too girly for me but when they're done in simple black and white they look more modern and sophisticated. I especially love the the jumbo size and density of the layout in the 1st image. The silhouette itself is also quite chic.
