Knitting for a Cause | Little Lungs RSW Awareness and Protection

From time to time I get emails and solicitations from companies to write a sponsored post or collaborate on a project. Usually, it's quite obvious that whoever sent the email has never seen this blog. I mean, it's pretty clear TDH is all about knitwear so when some manufacturer emails me to ask if I will write about their prom dresses, I just delete it.

I don't know anyone at Little Lungs and truth be told, I havn't even heard of Respiratory Syncytial Virus, the #1 reason babies are hospitalized within their 1st year of life, but someone over there (Hello!) knows I'm all about knits so I have no problem promoting this worthy cause.

(Full disclosure: I am not being paid to write this.)

Knit Big for Little Lungs is an event the organization promotes starting in October to raise awareness for RSV and provide NICU's around the country with hats, blankets, and booties.

See the flyer below for specifics and you can check out their Facebook page for more information about their cause and see some wonderful pictures of people proudly knitting away!
